Development Team Task Summary
The development teams have been working on a bunch of improvements to the platform. Here's a breakdown of what they've done, explained in simple terms:
Incentive Program Improvements:
Making Incentives Easier to Understand: The system is being changed so that it’s clearer how much a dealer needs to sell to reach the next incentive tier. The way incentives are calculated is also being refined and made more transparent, especially when dealing with retroactive changes (incentives applied to sales that happened in the past).
Data Visualization: We've created a chart so everyone can easily see how incentive payouts have changed over time, both monthly and annually.
Data Consistency: The numbers related to rebatable (discounted) and regular sales are now matching across different parts of the system, ensuring accuracy.
Year-over-Year Growth Tracking: We're adding a report card feature that shows how much incentive earnings have increased compared to the same time last year.
Admin Oversight: Administrators can now see exactly how incentives are calculated when retroactive thresholds are involved, so they can confirm everything is working correctly.
User Experience Changes:
Mega Menu for Private Label Owners: Private label owners will now have a better organized menu for easily navigating product, space, and brand information.
Improvements Before Launch: Before launching new features (like the "board" and "spaces"), fixes are being made to ensure everything works smoothly.
Analytics Clean-Up: Dealers and brand representatives won't see certain user management tabs in the analytics section.
Behind the Scenes Work:
User Account Management: User accounts are being removed as needed.
Technical Meetings: The technology leadership team had meetings to discuss important technical issues, particularly related to VISA.
Adding Data for Testing: All incentive information is now available in a testing environment (staging) so we can make sure everything works correctly before it goes live.
Adding Incentive Details: Incentive analysis has been integrated into the company details page.
