Release 14 - Support
Here's a plain-language summary of the work completed by our development teams, categorized to make it easier to understand. Think of it as a report on what’s been improved and what's being fixed.
1. Incentives & Rewards (Making the Program Work Better):
Default Settings: The way incentives are displayed will be automatically set up, making it simpler for users. A growth incentive will also now be clearly shown.
Number Accuracy: A lot of effort is going into ensuring the numbers displayed related to incentives are correct – this includes checks within analytics and when looking at individual companies.
Partnership Management: We're working on making it easier to add, remove, and manage partnerships.
Threshold Dates: We’re adding start and end dates to incentive thresholds, giving more clarity on timeframes.
Permission Control: Access to the incentive program will now be controlled by user permissions. Users will only be able to access it if they have the right level of access.
2. User Experience & Display (Making Things Look and Work Better):
Mockups for Review: A sample view of the incentive card's design is being created to show the executive team and get their feedback.
Incentive Card Display: Incentive cards will now be visible in the main overview area.
Dealer Portfolio Space: Dealers will get a dedicated space to showcase their portfolio.
Hiding Price Information: The price (listprice) will be hidden from the product page for space managers.
UI Refinement: Making improvements to the appearance and usability of the inbound and company analytics pages.
Space and Brand Editing: Brand owners will be able to see and edit their spaces.
Featured Space: An option will be added for a "featured space" under brands.
Photo Upload Issues: Fixing a problem where the photo uploader wasn't working correctly.
Duplicate Card Issues: Correcting an issue where adding photos sometimes created duplicate cards, splitting the image across spaces.
Empty Space Descriptions: Preventing the word "undefined" from appearing when a space has no description; instead, a blank space will be used.
3. Data & Analytics (Getting More Information):
Data Correction: Correcting records that were missing dealer information.
Sales & Incentive Reporting: Building a system to export lists of incentives by dealer or brand to a spreadsheet (.csv file).
Company Type Breakdown: Displaying sales and incentives broken down by company type within the inbound gateway analytics.
Incentive Snapshots: Providing views of incentive data for specific companies at a given point in time.
Sales Breakdown: Creating monthly, quarterly, and annual breakdowns of sales and incentives by brand and dealer, filtered by location.
Inbound Analytics Review: Improving the analytics display within the inbound gateway.
4. Technical & Infrastructure (Behind-the-Scenes Work):
Website Setup: Setting up a testing environment ("sandbox") for the new global website to prepare it before going live.
Domain Connection: Connecting a specific website (connectandthrive.indeal.org) to the main domain and securing it with a valid SSL certificate.
Dynamics Fields: Updating fields within the Dynamics system to better match the needs of the dealer services team.
Canonical URL Uniqueness: Ensuring unique URLs for each domain to improve search engine indexing.
File Handling: Adding a condition to deal with files that contain extra spaces in the filenames.
Jira Reconnection: Fixing the connection between Jira (a project tracking tool) and the mobile app.
Mariam’s Account: Archiving Mariam’s Microsoft 365 account and removing licenses from Dhiraj.
5. User Support & Maintenance (Helping People & Keeping Things Running):
Email Verification: Reviewing suspicious emails to identify scams.
Technical Assistance: Providing support to individual users, including setting up computers, resolving software issues (Adobe), and dealing with scam emails.
Meeting Participation: Participating in meetings with Brandon and Manny.
